Walk the Line

In order to machine-quilt straight lines, I apply strips of extra-wide masking tape to my quilt to use as stitching guides. I can sew on either side of the tape and usually can reposition a piece several times before I need to replace it. You'll find many widths available at the hardware store or home improvement center.
