Selvage Saver

I buy a lot of fat quarters to build my stash and use in scrappy quilts. When I buy one, I make sure that it includes the selvage edge that identifies the manufacturer and fabric line. That way when I want more of a particular fabric for a quilt, I know the name of the collection so I have a better chance of finding additional yardage. Plus, I have colorful selvage strips to assemble into a selvage quilt.
