Seam Ripper Saves the Day

I enjoy raw-edge quilts but had a hard time cutting all those seams. Then I tried a seam ripper. Now instead of using a scissors and cutting toward the seam allowance, I place a new seam ripper in the seam just beyond the stitching and rip through to the outside edge. I never have to worry about cutting into the seam again.
