Quick Fix

When I give a quilt as a gift, I save the scraps from the project in a plastic bag labeled with the new owner's name. I store these bags in a photo box. This way, if the quilt ever needs a repair, I have the exact fabric match on hand. This helps eliminate a lot of my scraps and, as I want my quilts to be used and played with, helps maintain the integrity of the quilts for years to come.
