Prepare Binding Early

I cut strips for my binding and prepare them at the same time I'm piecing my quilt top. I store the binding wrapped on an empty thread cone. Once my quilt is quilted and ready to be bound, I don't have to search for the binding fabric, cut it into strips, and piece them together -- the binding is ready to go!
