Pool Your Resources

When I select fat quarters for a project, I iron them, sort them by color, stack a few at a time, roll the stacks onto foam rolls (swimming pool noodles), and pin them in place. This makes them easy to store and saves me from needing to re-iron them, which is especially nice for ongoing projects, such as block-of-the-month or mystery quilts.
