Off the Hook

When sewing the hook portion of hook-and-loop tape in place, I cover it with transparent water-soluble stabilizer. After sewing, I pull off the stabilizer and wash away any remaining bits. This reduces the possibility that my needles will be dulled and broken by the hooks.
