Just a Trace

Go green and use discarded hard plastic packaging to make your next template. Trace the template pattern onto the packaging with a fine-tip permanent marker. Then cut out the template with a sharp pair of scissors or a crafts knife. Rough up the back side of the template with a piece of sandpaper to keep it from sliding on the fabric. If necessary, poke holes in the template with a seam ripper or crafts knife for seam intersections.
