Grab Your Tissues

I do a lot of machine appliqué and have found that tissue paper makes the best stabilizer. It's cheaper and tears easier than other stabilizers I've tried. After I tear away the tissue paper, I use a strip of packing tape to get all the tiny pieces of paper left behind. The tape cleans up the backs of blocks nicely and is easy on my fingertips.
