Batting Buddy

Whenever I work on a quilting project, I attach a scrap of batting to my shirt with a safety pin. I put any stray threads I find on my quilt top, sewing table, or floor onto the batting scrap. This practice saves me time because I don't have to throw pieces of thread into a wastebasket whenever I find them. When I finish quilting for the day, I throw the scrap of batting away.
