Room to Sew (No Matter What Size Space You Have)
Whenever we talk storage, either with readers or among our staff, one of the most common issues that comes up is that there's just never enough space! We have some good news though—with some planning and creativity, you can make even the tiniest bit of space work for your needs! Joanna, the editor of Quilts & More magazine, talks about creating room to sew, no matter the amount of space you have. She shares tips for evaluating where you sew, where you cut, where you press, and where you store supplies -- and then how to transform those spaces depending on the amount of space you have.
Getting Sewcial
Lindsay chats with Jessica Dayon, a talented quilter, pattern designer, and new author! Jessica shares the inspiration behind her first book Season to Taste. In this book, Jessica shares a dozen quilt designs, three for each season, which will help make your home cozy all year long. Jessica is hosting a few quilt-alongs for patterns in her book. She loves quilt-alongs and hosts many throughout the year (you can see past ones and stay up-to-date on new ones here.) Jessica is a prolific quilter and often has new and inspired patterns coming out. She shares about her quilt designing process -- she has participated in three 100-Day Challenges in which she designed a new quilt every day for 100 days straight to push her creativity. And as a busy mom to four, she offers some tips for finding more time to sew.
