Stars & Shadows Machine-Quilting Detail
Designer: Colleen Gall, The Cotton Corner
Colleen Gall machine-quilted arcs in the red triangles and white squares of each A–C block and double arcs in the solid light gray center square of each D block. She quilted a feathered wreath in each D block that extended into the outer edges of the A–C blocks and filled the remaining space in the D blocks with a curved crosshatch design. Colleen quilted the inner border with a feathered vine. She quilted the outer border with a zigzag that extended from the inner border to the outer edge and then filled each triangle with alternating parallel lines to create a braid design.
Get the pattern in the Spring/Summer 2016 digital issue here.
