Wild West

Machine-Quilting Details
In the center star of Beautiful Dreamer Krista Moser machine-quilted a feather design in each star point and narrow parallel lines in the tan triangles. She highlighted the checkerboard units with a swirl design and in the small star blocks she showcased a loop design in each star point and parallel lines in the tan triangles to match the center star. She accented the remaining elements of the quilt top with feather designs.

Beautiful Dreamer Color Option
Play up the checkerboard units of Beautiful Dreamer with black and red. Quilt tester Laura Boehnke re-created the center portion of the original for a 48-1/2"-square quilt. Light backgrounds let the star blocks pop while giving the eye a place to rest. Fabrics are from the Night and Day 3 collection and Patrick Lose's Mixmasters-Dot to Dot and Mixmasters-Scribbles collections, all from Robert Kaufman Fabrics.
