Stitchin' Post is located in Sisters, Oregon, a tiny town of about 2,000. Stitchin' Post, owned by Jean Wells and Valori Wells, is one of the most-visited shops in the United States and is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
Visitors find color inspiration in all corners of the shop. Among fabric bolts and displays, you'll find books and patterns by Jean and Valori.

Della , Valori's new fabric collection, is available in plush and flannel, perfect for baby quilts and gifts.
Recently, Jean has been focusing on abstract work. With her new book, Intuitive Color & Design: Adventures in Art Quilting, Jean hopes to help quilters embrace the idea of making a contemporary quilt.
Small But Mighty
Pincushions are perfect projects to experiment with color. Jean suggests you use at least one zinger fabric in each pincushion. A zinger fabric is brighter and bolder than the others.
