Easy-to-piece Dresdens are spiced up with a touch of wool appliqué on a vertical row quilt.

Delightfully Dresden Machine-Quilting Detail
Machine quilter: Wendy Karcher
Wendy Karcher machine-quilted a petal in each wedge of the Dresden units. She stitched an allover loop-and-flower design on the center panel and an allover swirl-and-leaf cluster design on each side panel. In each wool circle, Wendy quilted a star with an inner swirl and a scallop design around the outer edge.
