Maximum Inspiration
Country Traditions quilt shop in Fremont, Nebraska, is chock-full of quilted samples, fabrics, patterns, magazines, and books. Owners Kevin and Leslie Main have expanded the shop twice since they started the business in 1998. It now encompasses 15,000 square feet.

Vintage Displays
Twin bed vignettes are a staple at Country Traditions. Here the decorative pillows showcase a variety of machine-stitching techniques and the quilts feature current fabric collections.

Blossoms in the Garden
Shop owner Leslie Main designed Blossoms in the Garden, a tabletop quilt of pieces blooms and leaves, for Quilt Sampler® Spring/Summer 2012 magazine. For something new, use your sewing machine to quilt the border with a decorative stitch.

Machine-Quilting Details
Designer Leslie Main machine-stitched three radiating lines in the ditch of the petal and leaf units. Using green thread she machine-quilted the border units with a leaf-and-vine pattern.
