Sea Swept Machine-Quilting Detail
Machine quilter: Cindye Baily of Pink Feather Quilting
Cindye Baily machine-quilted a circular design radiating from the center of each Snail’s Trail block to visually continue the spin of the pieced block. In each sashing rectangle, she stitched parallel straight lines in the white print and outline-quilted in each corner. She quilted a spinning star in the center of each sashing square, with parallel lines extending from the center to the outside of each unit.
