Machine quilter: Georgia Culbertson

Georgia Culbertson machine-quilted assorted designs in the stripes of the Roman Stripes units and an elongated S in each fan blade of the center block. She quilted four straight-edge feathers in each blade of the corner blocks. Using matching thread, she filled the solid black background with a feathered leaf design. Georgia used a string-of-pearls design next to the border seam and filled the remainder of the border with a feather design.
