Remembering the Past

Remembering the Past

Designers: Cindy Ogle and Capi Saxton

Some things are classic for a reason. Historic blocks (a Log Cabin variation and an Ohio Star) and reproduction fabrics star in a simple yet striking throw.

Remembering the Past Machine-Quilting Details

Remembering the Past Machine-Quilting Details

Machine Quilter: Ruth Middleton

Ruth Middleton machine-quilted intersecting scrolls in the centers of the A–C blocks and outer border blocks, and double intersecting scrolls in the center of each D block. She quilted the beige setting squares with a larger double intersecting scroll design. Ruth quilted the setting and corner triangles with a feather motif and stitched a loop design in the outer border.
