Fabric Sleeve
Cut a piece of holiday fabric large enough to wrap around the middle of the present (we used a stripe fabric). Pink the edges, then glue the fabric around the wrapped present. Tie baker's twine around the gift and add a fabric gift tag.

Felted Flourishes
Cut two 1-1⁄2×12" strips of felted wool. (For small pom-poms, use one strip.) Glue or sew strips together along a pair of long edges. Use scissors to fringe unattached long edges. Roll paired strips into a coil and glue uncut edge. Glue pom-poms onto a wrapped package.

Woven Fabric Wrapping
Use a striped fabric as a guide to cut strips. Add decorative stitches if desires, then pink the edges of each strip. Weave them together for a patterned ribbon wrapping.

Rounds of Ribbon
Tie multiple pieces of ribbon, yarn, and other trims around a box, leaving tails a few inches long.

Gift Wrap Banner
Fabric triangles with pinked edges easily become a banner across the top of a present. Glue triangles in place, then tie a length of baker's twine around the present as the banner's string.

Merry Measure
Wind a pocket-size measuring tape around a wrapped box as you would ribbon. Use a round sticker to secure the tape and another to label it.

String Along
Gather eight lengths of embroidery floss or perle cotton in a single color; tie a knot in the center. Center knot on front of a wrapped package, fan out floss tails equally, and tape them to back of the package. Repeat using different floss colors. Glue flat beads or buttons over the knots.

Cut two pieces of holiday fabric to the size of the top of the gift box. Layer the two pieces of fabric with wrong sides together. Sew around the edges of fabric pieces for a decorative accent. Then glue the fabric to the top of the present.

Cut two pieces of holiday fabric smaller than the top of the gift box. Layer the two pieces of fabric with wrong sides together. Sew around the edges of fabric pieces for a decorative accent. Pink the edges. Wrap the present with baker's twine, then glue the fabric to the top of the present.
