Linzee Kull McCray is a writer, speaker, museum curator, and fabric designer. During her tenure as an editor for the University of Iowa she admired a quilt in the office of a colleague, who offered to teach her to quilt. Life hasn't been the same since. Today, Linzee is the author of Feed Sacks: The Colourful History of a Frugal Fabric and Art Quilts of the Midwest, along with myriad textile-related articles and online posts for American Patchwork and Quilting, Quilts and More, Etsy, UPPERCASE, Stitch, Oprah, Moda's Cutting Table blog, and others. She's curated exhibitions for the Iowa Quilt Museum, National Quilt Museum, International Quilt Museum, Texas Quilt Museum, and New England Quilt Museum, and designs feed sack-inspired fabric for Moda Fabrics. Linzee enjoys speaking at guilds and museums, both in the U.S. and abroad.
