Don’t Forget
When I’m working on a project and have to leave my sewing room for a few minutes, I make sure I stop sewing in the middle of a seam and leave the block in place on the sewing machine. That way when I get back to work I know exactly where to start again.

Keep Stitching
I am one of many quilters still stitching away on my beloved Featherweight. I love the look of my machine and I want to preserve the decals and the paint on it. I’m especially concerned about the areas where fabric frequently passes over. I found that placing a small piece of plastic (the material used on the bottom of rulers to keep them from slipping) on the front of the machine bed not only provides a smooth surface for my projects, but also protects the paint without any damage because static electricity serves as the adhesive.
