Linen Naturals
This is as much a color trend as a fabric trend. The desire for natural fibers and natural-color fabrics has stimulated a wide range of linenlike textures and blends that give the feeling of flax. Printed faux linen textures on cotton, and vintage prints on linen or cotton, are all part of this trend. It started in both Japan and Europe and now is being interpreted in the U.S. market with a midcentury modern twist. Cross-dyes with a chambray look in linen blends are a new basic.
