Assemble the Quilt Top

The quilt top changes color in diagonal rows from the upper-left corner to the lower-right corner. Use a design wall and refer to the Quilt Assembly Diagram to help guide your placement choices.

1. Lay out the 49 pink block centers, the 44 blue block centers, and the 28 green block centers in 11 horizontal rows. Note the direction of the block centers' seams.

2. Add the block corners to the layout. Note that matching block corners form a circle at the intersection of four block centers and form half circles along the outer edges of the quilt.

3. Once you are pleased with the arrangement, begin with the upper right-hand block and sew together the pieced block corner and pieced block center.
