Sawtooth Stars & Squares

Blend retro prints from the Groovy Geos collection for Timeless Treasures with solid black. When you’re making a quilt with busy prints, the use of a solid sashing fabric helps give the eye a place to rest between blocks.

Materials

Materials
1/2 yard black dot print (star units)
1/2 yard mottled pink (star units)
3/8 yard mottled lime green (star units)
1/4 yard black circle print (star units)
1/8 yard lime green circle print (star units)
1/4 yard each of black floral and lime green floral (block centers)
5/8 yard each of multicolor check and multicolor stripe (blocks)
1-1/8 yards solid black (sashing, binding)
1/8 yard multicolor squares print (sashing squares)
3-1/8 yards backing fabric
55" square batting

Finished quilt: 48-1/2" square
Finished block: 14" square

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics.

Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
