Assemble Segments

1. Gather two different floral 2-1⁄2x42" strips. Sew together to make Strip Set A (Diagram 1). Press seam toward bottom strip.

2. Using an acrylic ruler, trim left-hand end of strip set at a 45-degree angle from the bottom edge (Diagram 2). Measuring from trimmed end, cut nine 2-1⁄2"-wide A segments.

3. Using remaining 2-1⁄2x42" strips from same two florals, sew together to make Strip Set B (Diagram 3). Press seam toward top strip.

4. Using an acrylic ruler, trim left-hand end of remaining strip set at a 45-degree angle from the top edge (Diagram 4). Measuring from trimmed end, cut nine 2-1⁄2"-wide B segments.

5. Using remaining floral and pink paisley 2-1⁄2x42" strips, repeat steps 1–4 to make nine A segments and nine B segments total in each colorway.
