It's not always apparent how medium- or large-scale prints will look when cut up. View each black-and-white print of the Sketchbook collection from P&B Textiles through a 2-1/2"-square window template to see how dark or light "gray" it appears.

Materials

1/4 yard solid black (blocks)
6—5/8-yard pieces assorted black prints (blocks, binding)
4—1/4-yard pieces assorted red prints (blocks, binding)
4—1/4-yard pieces assorted yellow prints (blocks, binding)
3-3/4 yards backing fabric
67" square batting

Finished quilt: 60-1/2" square
Finished blocks: 15" square

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabric. Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
