Assemble Nine-Patch Blocks
The instructions that follow result in one Nine-Patch block. Repeat to make 18 Nine-Patch blocks total.
1. Referring to Nine-Patch Diagram, lay out a total of nine bright stripes, plaids, and solid 3-1/2” squares in three rows.
2. Sew together pieces in each row. Press seams in one direction, alternating direction with each row.
3. Join rows to make a Nine-Patch block. Press seams in one direction. The Nine-Patch block should be 9-1/2" square including seam allowances.
