Flying Geese Quilt

Sew Flying Geese blocks to make a soothing quilt using an assortment of blue and green batiks. Fabrics are Ceylon, Key Lime, and Chamomile fat-quarter bundles from Hoffman California Fabrics.

Materials

Inspired by Flight of Geese from designer Vickie Eapen
Quilt tester: Jan Ragaller

6-1/3 yards total assorted green, blue, and chartreuse batiks (blocks, setting rectangles, binding) (The featured quilt uses 10 green batiks, 11 blue batiks, and 9 chartreuse batiks)
3-7/8 yards backing fabric
69" square batting

Finished quilt: 60-1/2" square
Finished block: 6-1/2x3-1/2"

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics. Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
