Citrus Patch Throw

To add sparkle and interest to a simple quilt, first choose a big print, then select smaller prints that vary in scale and take their color cues from the big print. These fabrics are from the Radiance collection by Judy Hansen for Paintbrush Studio.

Materials

Inspired by Bold Statement from designer Felicity Miller of Felicity Quilt tester: Mary Pepper

1/3 yard brown-and-blue print (quilt top)
1-2/3 yards green-and-blue floral (quilt top)
1-1/3 yards green print (quilt top, binding)
1-1/3 yards blue small floral (quilt top)
5/8 yard each blue-and-cream print and blue print (quilt top)
7/8 yard blue large floral (quilt top)
4-1/8 yards backing fabric
74x81" batting

Finished quilt: 65-1/2x72-1/2"

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics. Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
