Batik Jewels Quilt

Cut Fabrics

Cut pieces in the following order. Cut pink-and-purple outer border and binding strips lengthwise (parallel to the selvages).

From gold print, cut:
1—9-7/8" square, cutting it in half diagonally for 2 triangles total

From each green and red print, cut:
2—9-7/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for 4 triangles total

From each purple, blue, and light green print, cut:
3—9-7/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for 6 triangles total

From brown batik, cut:
1—1-1/2x13-1/2" strip
1—1-1/2x12-1/2" strip
1—1-1/2x10-1/2" strip
1—1-1/2x9-1/2" strip

From green batik, cut:
2—1-1/2x12-1/2” strips
3—1-1/2x11-1/2” strips
1—1-1/2x10-1/2” strip

From gold batik, cut:
1—1-1/2x12-1/2" strip
2—1-1/2x11-1/2" strips
1—1-1/2x10-1/2" strip

From moss green batik, cut:
4—1-1/2x13-1/2" strips
4—1-1/2x12-1/2" strips
4—1-1/2x10-1/2" strips
4—1-1/2x9-1/2" strips

From violet-blue batik, cut:
3—1-1/2x12-1/2" strips
5—1-1/2x11-1/2" strips
2—1-1/2x10-1/2" strips

From purple batik, cut:
2—1-1/2x13-1/2" strips
2—1-1/2x12-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x10-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x9-1/2" strips

From blue batik, cut:
3—1-1/2x12-1/2" strips
6—1-1/2x11-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x10-1/2" strips

From dark blue batik, cut:
3—1-1/2x13-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x12-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x10-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x9-1/2" strips

From lime green batik, cut:
2—1-1/2x12-1/2" strips
5—1-1/2x11-1/2" strips
3—1-1/2x10-1/2" strips

From rust batik, cut:
1—1-1/2x12-1/2” strip
3—1-1/2x11-1/2” strips
2—1-1/2x10-1/2” strips

From red batik, cut:
2—1-1/2x13-1/2” strips
2—1-1/2x12-1/2” strips
1—1-1/2x10-1/2” strip
1—1-1/2x9-1/2” strip

From dark gray batik, cut:
5—1-1/2x42" strips for inner border

From pink-and-purple batik, cut:
2—6-1/2x54-1/2" outer border strips
2—6-1/2x53-1/2" outer border strips
5—2-1/2x55" binding strips
