Appliqué Fan Quilt

Assemble the Fan Units

1. With the right side inside, fold each yellow floral, yellow print, blue print, blue floral, and blue plaid A piece in half lengthwise (see Diagram 1). Using a short stitch length, sew 1/4" from the top edge of each folded A piece.

2. Turn each folded and stitched A piece right side out to make 160 fan points (see Diagram 2); press.

3. Sew together five fan points to make a fan unit (see Diagram 3). Press the seam allowances open. Repeat to make a total of 32 fan units.
