Assemble the Quilt Center
1. Referring to the Quilt Assembly Diagram, lay out the 49 Monkey Wrench blocks, the 36 pink print 6-3/4" setting squares, and the 24 pink print setting triangles in diagonal rows.
2. Sew together the pieces in each row. Press the seam allowances toward the setting squares and triangles. Then join the rows. Press the seam allowances in one direction.
3. Add the four pink print corner triangles to complete the quilt center. Press the seam allowances toward the corner triangles. Trim the pieced quilt center, leaving a 1/4" seam allowance beyond the corner of each block. The quilt center should measure 62-5/8" square, including seam allowances.
