Cut the Fabrics

To make the best use of your fabrics, cut the pieces in the order that follows. Cut the border strips the length of the fabric (parallel to the selvage). The setting and corner triangles are cut larger than necessary. You'll trim them to fit after assembling the quilt center.

From assorted dark and medium prints, cut:
98--3-3/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for a total of 196 triangles
245--1-3/4" squares

From assorted light prints, cut:
98--3-3/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for a total of 196 triangles
196--1-3/4" squares

From pink print, cut:
2--2-3/4x70-5/8" outer border strips
2--2-3/4x66-1/8" outer border strips
6--10-1/4" squares, cutting each diagonally twice in an X for a total of 24 setting triangles
36--6-3/4" squares
2--5-1/2" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for a total of 4 corner triangles

From white-and-black print, cut:
2--2-1/4x66-1/8" inner border strips
2--2-1/4x62-5/8" inner border strips
8--3x42" binding strips
