Assemble Four-Patch Blocks
1. Referring to Diagram 1, sew together two dark blue print 2-1⁄2" squares and two mottled gold 2-1⁄2" squares in pairs. Press seams away from mottled gold squares. Join pairs to make a Four-Patch block. Press seam in one direction. The block should be 4-1⁄2" square including seam allowances.
2. Repeat Step 1 to make four Four-Patch blocks total.
