Red, White & Blue Table Runner

Begin with traditional Rail Fence units and add triangles and squares to make three striking blocks. These prints from Minick & Simpson’s Flag Day Farm collection for Moda Fabrics make a festive table runner.

Materials

Inspired by “Across the Table” designer Lynda Hall of Primitive Pieces by Lynda
Project Maker: Mary Pepper

3/8 yard total assorted red prints (blocks, sashing)
3/4 yard total assorted blue prints (blocks, sashing, binding)
1/4 yard total assorted white stripes and prints (blocks)
1-1/2 yards backing fabric
23x51" batting

Finished quilt: 16-1/2x44-1/2"
Finished block: 12" square

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics.

Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
