Broken Dishes Table Runner

For a traditional look, use only two prints for each Broken Dishes block. These small-scale calicos are from the Crimson and Clover collection by Jo Morton for Andover Fabrics.

Cut Fabrics

Cut pieces in the following order.

From yellow print scraps, cut:
8—1-7/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for 16 triangles total

From red print scraps, cut:
8—1-7/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for 16 triangles total

From green print scraps, cut:
6—1-7/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for 12 triangles total

From orange print scraps, cut:
2—1-7/8" squares, cutting each in half diagonally for 4 triangles total

From green floral, cut:
1—6x22" rectangle

From orange print, cut:
1—2-1/2x6" rectangle
1—2-1/2x4-1/2" rectangle

From red check, cut:
1—2-1/2x22" rectangle

From yellow stripe, cut:

2—2-1/2x42" strips for binding
