From Cori

My heroes:
I’m inspired by many people. My father has definitely influenced my business sense—he included me in his business when I was 15 and I worked for him for about 12 years.

The best thing about my job:
The flexibility and the creative process.

A talent I wish I had:
That I could sing better!

My motto:
"I think there is another way to do that." It's just my nature to always look for another road. It's hard for me to follow the same path that someone else has already explored.

My most prized possession:
My yard—I live on 25 acres along a creek.  I love the privacy and the space for my kids to run and play. We have horses, cats and a dog, and I have a large perennial garden and lots of lawn to mow, which gives me time to think.

My ideal day:
A quiet day, no deadlines, no meals to make! A day when I could just scrapbook, go for lunch with a friend, watch a favorite TV show, go for a walk down our country road.

Where I find inspiration:
Scrapbooking, home dec magazines, and from my surroundings. Sometimes it starts with a feeling or a look I want to create, and then the ideas come after that.
