Split Personality - Blue and White-Four-Patch

Quilt Designer: Mabeth Oxenreider
From American Patchwork & Quilting, February 2006

As in the quilt before this, a four-patch block and a solid block make up this quilt. This time around, the solid is just that, unlike the pieced “solid” in the previous quilt. The effect is crisp and sharp, a contrast with the more “country look” of the first quilt. “It’s a good example of how much you can change a pattern by simply changing the fabric,” says Mabeth.
