Berries and Buds

“I decided to embrace the popularity of stars and incorporate them into this design,” says Kim of her “Berries and Buds” quilt. Vines, flowers, and berries blossom from the star’s points, and Kim chose to use rich colors on a muted background. “If I’d chosen fabrics with a stronger contrast, I wouldn’t have gotten this subtle, old-fashioned feel,” she says.
