This photo was taken during my great, great aunt’s wedding celebration at the family homestead in Texas. I visited this farm in the 1960s when I was a little girl, and was shocked to find that there was still no indoor plumbing! I came away from that visit with a love of all things old, and this continues to influence my design preferences today.
