Green Pinwheels

Assemble Blocks

1. Lay out four gold pinwheel units, one teal pinwheel unit, and four solid ivory 5-1/2" squares in three rows (Diagram 3). Sew together pieces in each row. Press seams toward pinwheel units. Join rows to make block A; press seams in one direction. Block A should be 15-1/2" square including seam allowances. Repeat to make four total of block A.

2. Referring to Step 1 and Diagram 4, use three gold pinwheel units, two teal pinwheel units, and four solid ivory 5-1/2" squares to make block B. Repeat to make six total of block B.

3. Referring to Step 1 and Diagram 5, use one gold pinwheel unit, four teal pinwheel units, and four solid ivory 5-1/2" squares to make block C. Repeat to make a second block C.
