Rail Fence Pillow

Sew four blocks in a variety of favorite cool-tone solids, then set them on point with an additional cool-tone solid to make a 16"-square pillow. These fabrics are Kona cotton solids from Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

Materials

Inspired by Pick-It Fences from designer Cherri House of Cherry House Quilts
Project tester: Kathleen Williams

1/4 yard total assorted green, cream, and blue solids (blocks)
7/8 yard solid sage green (setting squares, setting and corner triangles, border, pillow back)
16"-square pillow form

Finished pillow: 16" square
Finished block: 4-1/2" square

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics.
Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
