Assemble Four-Patch Units
1. Aligning long edges, sew together a green print 2x42" strip and a blue print 2x42" strip to make a strip set. Press seams toward blue print. Repeat to make a second strip set. Cut strip sets into forty 2"-wide segments (Diagram 1).
2. Join two segments to make a Four-Patch unit (Diagram 2). Press seam in one direction. The Four-Patch unit should be 3-1/2" square including seam allowances. Repeat to make 20 Four-Patch units total.
