Assemble A and B Blocks
1. For one A block, gather a 5-1/2" square from one assorted print or stripe, two 2-1/2x5-1/2" strips and two 2-1/2x9-1/2" strips from a second assorted print or stripe, and three or four assorted 3"-long ribbon or rickrack pieces.
2. With wrong side inside, fold a ribbon or rickrack piece in half, matching short ends, to make a loop. Aligning raw edges, pin loop to edge of 5-1/2" square (Diagram 3). Repeat to make two or three more ribbon or rickrack loops; pin to edges as desired.
