Staff member Candy Hargrove designed Butterscotch Road, an Arkansas Traveler block quilt, for Quilt Sampler® Spring/Summer 2013 magazine. The Rabbit’s Lair offers kits for the quilt in throw, twin, queen, and king sizes.
Karen Kielmeyer machine-quilted a pattern of curved flower, leaf, and swirl motifs in each block and a continuous heart in the sashing strips. In the border, she outlined the appliqués, added similar motifs as in the blocks, and quilted a Baptist Fan pattern in the backgroud.
