Amish Abstractions: Quilts from the Collection of Faith and Stephen Brown
What: This collection includes more than 48 Amish full-size and crib quilts dating from the 1880s to the 1940s, the height of Amish quilt production.
Why: If you’re expecting simple style, you’re in for a surprise. These bold and bright quilts feature graphic patterns that are reminiscent of contemporary abstract artists.
When: Now through June 6
