My quilt is my own design. In an attempt to be accurate, I pulled elements from two sources, Classic Four Block Applique Quilts by Linda Giesler Carlson and Best of Four Blocks and More by Gwen Marston. The latter contained a discussion on the tradition in South Carolina and focused on the depiction of the pineapple. I thought it would be appropriate for me to incorporate it in my design.
