Side Dish Color Option

Broken Dishes Quilt

By swapping crisp solid white for the light floral, quilt tester Laura Boehnke made the Broken Dishes blocks pop in her smaller version of Side Dish. Instead of appliquéing the middle border, Laura selected a novelty print from the Alphabet Soup Girl collection from Riley Blake Designs that stands on its own. By mixing a novelty print with tone-on-tones and a small-scale floral in the outer border, Laura draws the viewer’s eye across the quilt top.
