We know you love the quilt projects that appear in Quilts and More magazine. We took inspiration from projects in the magazine and created web-exclusive versions, complete with full instructions.
Day to Night
Day to Night Color Option
Add some pizzazz to your wardrobe with a trendy bright purse composed of a multicolor stripe that stands out against a black-and-white print binding. The fabric-covered button and adjustable strap make the purse both stylish and functional. Fabrics are from the Midnight Gardens collection by Susie M. Robbins for P&B Textiles.
2 Wishes Color Option
Add patriotic bursts to a plain pillow with simple machine straight-stitching. The dark blue background serves as a night sky for the red and white metallic sparklers.
Designer: Sachiko Aldous
Raw-edge appliqué done block by block makes it easier to manage a big quilt as you machine stitch. Extra circles covering seam intersections create the illusion of a sea of bubbles on a single background.
Bubble Up Color Option
Bright and Bubbly Pillow
Happy appliquéd circles arranged in a flower shape fill a bright pillow. The ragged edges of the appliqués add to the project’s breezy charm while orange piping frames the aqua background and echoes the center circle. Fabrics are from the Honey Honey collection by Kate Spain for Moda Fabrics.
